Meat processing is the work of slaughtering livestock such as cows, pigs, and chickens and dividing them into parts. The slaughter, meat processing, and storage processing industry slaughters and rocesses various land animals, including game animals, to produce fresh, refrigerated, and frozen meat. In particular, bacteria floating in the air due to unsanitary environmental conditions in the processing plant have been reported as one cause. In food processing, there is a possibility of contaminating food due to bioaerosols, which may be suspended in the air during slaughter, deboning, and the like. Since it is almost impossible to completely remove and maintain bioaerosols such as bacteria, yeast, and mold floating in the air during the slaughtering process, it is necessary to
improve the environment in which workers are exposed to bioaerosols by reducing them as much as possible.
Various disinfectants and sterilization systems exist to solve the problems of infection and odor removal, but their performance is often insufficient, so many consumers sometimes face problems such as food poisoning. At the same time, from the point of view of sellers, due to the nature of food, it is often discarded due to the limitation of the distribution period, so food loss is very high at the national level.
At this level, pure chlorine dioxide is recognized in the thesis of many international organizations and scholars, such as the US WHO, EPA, FDA, Korea FDA, and Japan's Ministry of Health and Welfare, and is recognized as the safest and most complete sterilization and odor removal material.
